Dr. Gordon graduated with honors from Amherst College and completed medical school
at the New York University School of Medicine. He interned at the Hospital of St.
Raphael/Yale University School of Medicine and was chief resident in ophthalmology at
Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Gordon completed
a fellowship in glaucoma surgery and management at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
He has published numerous articles on ophthalmology and refractive surgery in prestigious journals such as the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Eye, Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science. He is currently a reviewer for Ophthalmology, the journal for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Gordon is currently Clinical Associate Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He is one of the founding members of the Excimer Laser Users Group at the Infirmary. He is on staff at both Good Samaritan and Nyack hospitals. He is currently the Medical Director of the Palisades Laser Eye Center. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New York Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Gordon was recently voted one of the best opthalmologists in Rockland County by Townline Magazine. Dr. Gordon has extensive experience in Laser Correction Surgery and is the most experienced VISX Laser surgeon in Rockland County. Palisades Laser Eye Center |
